What's In a Name? 

The original Sheldon is a much adored chocolate Labrador.  Although comparisons to "The Big Bang Theory" are appropriate, this Sheldon is named after the Sheldon Amphitheater on the Ruth Glacier in Alaska -- where I (Joe) proposed to my wife on a trip after a mountain climbing expedition on Mt. McKinley (Denali). Our Sheldon became not only our "first born" and best friend, but he was also loved by many as an agility competitor and as a national champion dock diver who was inducted into the North America Diving Dog's Hall of Fame. In April 2021, after 12 wonderful but short years, we lost our Sheldon after a battle with bone cancer and lymphoma. Naming my business after him was one way to keep his memory alive. He also obviously loved all-things water (and mud!), so it just seemed perfect.
